EC 508 or EC 610

Objectives

This course is about non-cooperative game theory and asymmetric information. My goal is to present the game theory and the economics of information that exist in the literature to graduate students in economics, finance, accounting, management science, and political science so that they can build simple models using games and contracts in their research.

Grading structure

- Two midterm exams at 30% each, 60%

- Final exam 30%

- Term paper 10%

Attendance policy

Attendance is strongly recommended but not required. Students are responsible for all lecture material, including all in class announcements.

 

Make-up policy

Late assignments will never be accepted. There will be no make-up exam. Any conflict with the testing dates should be reported to me immediately.
