Education: Louisiana State University (B.A. and Ph.D.).
Honors, Achievements and Affiliations: Dr. Campbell has published more than twenty-five research articles in peer-reviewed journals and edited collections. She has authored three books, including the third edition of Revising Professional Writing in Science and Technology, Business, and the Social Sciences in 2011 and Thinking and Interacting Like a Leader (TILL) in 2006. TILL workshops are available through the IEEE Professional Communication Society. Online continuing education credits for TILL are available through IEEE eLearning. Dr. Campbell served as editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed research journal, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, from 1998 through 2008. IEEE honored her with the Emily K. Schlesinger Award for Distinguished Service in 2007 and the Alfred N. Goldsmith Award for Contributions to Engineering Communication in 2009. Dr. Campbell was selected as a Fellow in the SEC's Academic Leadership Development Program for 2010-11. She is a former faculty member at the Air Force Institute of Technology and Auburn University.
