  Research Interests

Microeconomics and game theory (incentives, contracting, and mechanism design), social and economic network formation, public economics (tax and fiscal competition, optimal income taxation), financial economics (corporate finance and asset pricing). Some of my current research focuses on competitive nonlinear pricing and on dynamics and stability in social and economic network formation.

PET98, held at the University of Alabama, May 28-31, 1998. PET98 was the first PET Conference and was held in conjunction with the launch of the Journal of Public Economic Theory,   The Association for Public Economic Theory (APET). Since PET98 the Conference has been held in Warwick (PET00), Paris (PET02), Duke (PET03), Beijing (PET04), Marseille (PET05), and Hanoi (PET06). PET07 will be held at Vanderbilt University.
