Undergraduate Curriculum
Greetings!
Recently, Glenn Richey and I made a presentation on Supply Chain Management in the MKT 300 classes. A number of you expressed a possible interest in the topic and asked to be kept appraised of developments.
As registration is underway, I am writing to announce the undergraduate specialization in Supply Chain Management that is being launched by the newly-formed Supply Chain Institute. The four courses listed below are designed to give you a sound knowledge of logistics and supply chain management that should be of particular interest to employers. In addition, we would hope to be able to situate you in an internship if you want to gain some industry experience.
The first priority for you would be to consider enrolling in MKT 411 for Spring 2008. MKT 460 is offered each semester, while MKT 422, OM 427 and OM 417 will be offered once a year.
Because the undergraduate SCM concentration is so new, you may not find it listed in your catalogs etc. We would therefore ask that you contact myself or Glenn Richey in the Department of Management & Marketing or Chuck Sox in the Department of Management Science so we can make sure that we get you into the correct courses and map out your program of study with you.
