Real Estate

Students at the University of Alabama can earn a "Specialization in Real Estate" with only FOUR classes at UA. 

The Specialization is available to ALL Culverhouse College of Commerce & Business Administration students. The Specialization complements every major (Marketing, Management, Finance, MIS, Accounting, Economics) as it is truly knowledge for life! Students will find a Specialization in Real Estate to be very beneficial. After successfully passing only TWO real estate courses, a student becomes eligible to sit for the Alabama Real Estate Salesperson License Exam. An Alabama Real Estate License allows a student to begin their real estate career while they are still in school!

Earn a Specialization in Real Estate with only 12 hours (4 courses):

Finance 331                 Principles of Real Estate

Finance 436                 Real Estate Finance

Plus choose 2 of the following:

Finance 334                 Real Estate Management

Finance 432                 Real Estate Appraisal

Legal Studies 407         Real and Personal Property Law

Civil Engineering 463    Construction Cost Estimating

PLUS, you will be eligible to sit for your
Alabama Real Estate Salesperson License Exam
after your successful completion of ONLY TWO CLASSES!
