Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:

Dr. Robbins has served as the director of the Paul Garner Center for Current Accounting Issues in the Culverhouse School of Accountancy. He has published over 60 articles in various academic and professional journals including works in Journal of Accounting Research, Healthcare Financial Management, and Research in Governmental and Non-Profit Accounting, among others. Dr. Robbins is a past recipient of the Association of Government Accountants Author's Award, and the Alabama Chapter of Health Care Financial Management Association Award for the most outstanding article, and received the 1992 James Nabors-Russell Corporation Award for Teaching Excellence.  Dr. Robbins also serves as a consultant in the area of litigation support services and has assisted in many legal business cases.  Dr. Robbins is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Forensic Accountant. He is also Certified in Financial Forensics by the AICPA.
