- Prior to joining The University of Alabama, Mr. Fitzgibbon served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Marshall Durbin Food Corporation. He has twenty years of experience in corporate financial management and public accounting, having served companies in the financial services, retail/distribution, and food processing industries. Mr. Fitzgibbon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Alabama Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
