- Mr. Avant advises students in the Culverhouse College of Commerce on academic and career planning. He is a member of the National Academic Advisors Association. Michael was a four-year HOPE scholar at Georgia Southern University where he also did his graduate assistantship in the Center for Student Leadership Development.
