Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:

Dr. Clements has published in real estate journals including the Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Property Research and the Journal of Real Estate Literature.  His current research interests include real estate valuation and asset pricing for timberland, farmland and industrial property, the behavioral aspects of the real estate investor and developer and relationships between the futures market and real estate.  He is a member of the American Urban Economics and Real Estate Association, American Real Estate Society, Society of American Foresters, Forest Products Society, and the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries.  While finishing his Ph.D. at Georgia State University, Dr. Clements was awarded the Graduate Teaching Award in 2009 for excellence in the classroom.  Also, Dr. Clements won an award for the most outstanding paper in the area of Senior Housing at the 2008 American Real Estate Society meeting in Captiva Island, Florida.
