Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:

Dr. Adams is a member of the American Statistical Association, Phi Mu Epsilon, and Phi Kappa Phi. His publications include contributions to journals and books such as Technometrics, Journal of Quality Technology, Frontiers in Statistical Quality Control, Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, Quality Engineering, and International Journal of Quality and Reliability as well as contributions to respected reference texts such as the Handbook of Statistical Methods for Engineers and Scientists, The Encyclopedia of Quality and Reliability and The Encyclopedia of Science and Technology. In addition to published research, Dr. Adams has collaborated on numerous quality-related projects with companies such as AT&T, Mercedes Benz USA, U.S. Steel, and NASA. He is active in promoting statistical education with initiatives such as the Alabama Quantitative Literacy Program, distance learning and even study abroad programs in China.
