Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:

Dr. Beatty has published over 50 articles in journals such as Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Advertising, and Journal of Business Research. She is on six editorial review boards, including Journal of Retailing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Journal of Business Research and is an ad hoc reviewer for many others. She is a past member of the Board of Governors for the Academy of Marketing Science and the American Marketing Association's Academic Council. In 1998 she became a Distinguished Fellow for the Academy of Marketing Science. In 1999 she was named Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal of Business Research. In 2001 she was named a Distinguished Scholar by the Society for Marketing Advances. She has been Doctoral Coordinator at UA for nineteen years and has chaired seventeen dissertations.
