- Ms. Wheeler-Griffin establishes and fosters partnerships with business and industry leaders across the country to generate internship opportunities for University of Alabama undergraduate students in every business field. She serves as instructor for C&BA internship course electives and supervises student interns during their tenure as employees in their fields of study. She speaks in classrooms and to student organizations to promote experiential training and to recruit eligible business students, and coordinates with C&BA faculty to approve potential internships for the program. A few of the established internship participants include Mercedes-Benz, DCH Regional Medical Center, Merrill Lynch, Southern Company, International Paper Company, and many other local, regional, and national employers. Active in professional organizations and associations in higher education and business, Ms. Wheeler-Griffin has graduate training in research, academic affairs, and higher education administration coupled with 16 years of professional experience.
