Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:

Dr. Hale's research has been published in Journal of Management Information Systems; IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering; IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics; Journal of Managerial Issues; Journal of Business Communications; Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution; and Journal of Systems Management. Her research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Center for Telecommunications Management, and numerous private funding agencies.

Dr. Hale received The University of Alabama's National Alumni Association Outstanding Commitment to Teaching Award in 2005. She has been honored to serve as a frequent Faculty Mentor in the C&BA Faculty Scholars Program and the McNair Scholars Program.
