- Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:
- Professor Mansfield is active in the American Statistical Association. He has presented numerous papers at national meetings; three times he was awarded Best Contributed Paper for his innovative presentations on statistical education at national meetings. He has been recognized for his outstanding teaching with awards from the AMOCO Foundation and the University of Alabama National Alumni Association. He has published many articles in journals such as American Statistician, Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Econometrics, and Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise.
