Dr. Mothersbaugh has published articles in such journals as Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Retailing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Psychology and Marketing, and Journal of Service Research. He has chaired sessions and presented papers at various national conferences and is an ad hoc reviewer for numerous journals including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Journal of Advertising. He is on the editorial review board of Journal of Business Research. Dr. Mothersbaugh teaches at the undergraduate, doctoral and executive MBA levels. His teaching includes consumer behavior and marketing strategy. He won the T. D. Moore Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2006 and teacher of the year award for the executive MBA in 2004, 2005, and 2006. He is co-author of the text Consumer Behavior: Building Marketing Strategy.
