Honors, Achievements and Affiliations:

Dr. Keskin has published articles in the areas of network design and facility location with inventory decisions and has presented her work at several conferences and invited seminars. Due to her scholarly activities in supply chain design and transportation, she received the 2007 James Costello Memorial Award from the International Transportation Management Association and the 2007 Transportation Clubs Award. She has also received an NSF Travel Grant to present her work on integrated facility location and inventory decisions at the 2006 NSF Grantees Conference. In addition, she has served as a referee for scholarly journals, including Naval Research Logistics, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, and International Transactions in Operational Research.

Dr. Keskin is an active member of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS), the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), the Production and Operations Management Society, and the Institute for Industrial Engineers (IIE). She is also the faculty advisor of the INFORMS Student Chapter at the University of Alabama. She is a recipient of the INFORMS Judith Liebman Moving Spirit Award in 2007.
