The Culverhouse College of Commerce at The University of Alabama is among six public universities ranked 29th among public undergraduate business schools in the latest U.S. News and World Report college rankings. UA graduate William (Britt) Sexton, has been named to the board of directors at Alabama National BanCorporation.
Sexton resides in Decatur, Ala., and is president and CEO of Sexton, Incorporated, President of First Southern/United Companies, Inc., President of FS Financial, Inc. and President of The Sexton Foundation.
Sexton received his BS from the University of Alabama and serves as a board member of the Crimson Tide Foundation and Treasurer of the University of Alabama President’s Cabinet. He is on the committee for Morgan County Economic Development Board and was past chairman and is a current board member for Decatur General Hospital Foundation.
Alabama National is a bank holding company operating 102 locations through 12 bank subsidiaries in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.
