The conferences help to ensure that The University of Alabama MIS program continues to deliver top quality MIS professionals to the business community.

Its mission is to enhance the understanding and knowledge of MIS students about their careers and their profession, aid Forum members in recruiting MIS graduates, and provide continuing education for the MIS faculty.

The MIS Forum also provides support the Computing Olympiad, an annual competition that provides high school students a competitive, learning environment and an opportunity to meet students from other high schools across the state of Alabama.
