Real Experience

One hallmark of the Enterprise Consulting Double Master Degrees program is the program's focus on real-world experience. The program’s curriculum is designed to provide students with opportunities that not only mimic, but actually are, real-world environments. This experience begins with a first year project that is completed during the introductory class. After this class and the summer boot camp, students participate in the summer internship program.

After returning to campus, the project manager staffs a project delivery team, which includes 4 to 6 senior undergraduate MIS students, each working approximately 20 hours a week. The team also includes a faculty member who serves as a mentor for the project manager. The project experience gives students the opportunity to apply classroom concepts to real-world situations, in a fostering environment. Rather than specializing in a traditional functional business domain, this foundation focuses on delivering enterprise solutions that cross industry and functional lines. Thus, the program’s graduates have an educational experience that sets them apart as they enter the job market and provides a basis for rapid career advancement across industry and functional boundaries.

Having over a year of practical experience in project management provides our students with an advantage over their peers. Our students gain the business skills that will help them to succeed throughout their careers:
