Many students’ internships lead directly to a full-time employment opportunity. Additionally, students are given the chance to meet with a different company every week that has come to campus at The University of Alabama specifically to recruit students in the Enterprise Consulting program and the undergraduate M.I.S. program. Because of this incredible amount of exposure, the Enterprise Consulting program continues to realize 100% placement before graduation. Also, many of our students are presented with multiple full-time employment opportunities before the end of the fall semester of their second year in the program.
Since the Enterprise Consulting program places such a heavy emphasis on project management, it opens an incredible number of career paths for our students to pursue. Graduates of our program can be found delivering value in a wide array of industries ranging from consulting and marketing to manufacturing and retailing, and from banking and auditing to entertainment and security. One of the main reasons we are able to place our graduates into such a diverse range of companies and industries is the constant relationship building that is going on between the Enterprise Consulting program at The University of Alabama and a wide range of Fortune 500 companies. The relationship-building process begins by exposing companies to our portfolio of successful Capstone Projects, and is maintained via the MIS Forum. The MIS Forum gives our students a chance to forge their own relationships with a group of CIOs, Partners, and other I.T. leaders who have already bought into the value delivered through the Enterprise Consulting program.
