Coursework & Minors

The first two and a half years of the doctoral degree program in management consist of in-depth coursework covering the principles of mangement, micro and macro systems, the philosophy of science, research design and statistics, and a series of Ph.D. seminars in the student's basic managerial discipline (i.e. organizational behavior or strategy) coupled with Ph.D. seminars in the student's applied discipline (entrepreneurship, health care mangement, or human resource management). In addition, the student is required to design and empirically test a research question relevant to his or her field of study with the supervision of a team of professors. The third to fourth year of study consists of dissertation research.
