Overview

The doctor of philosophy degree in management is regarded as a research degree and is granted on the basis of scholarly proficiency, distinctive achievement in a special field and capacity for independent, original investigation. Our program is a full-time program; coursework takes about 2 to 2-1/2 years to complete. Students can select from two tracks: organizational behavior (micro) or strategy (macro).

Students can also select from one of three applied areas: entrepreneurship, health care management, or human resource management. A minimum of 48 credit hours is required for the degree; however, students may take additional courses if desired.
