MSF Application Requirements

The following is required in order to apply to the Master of Science in Finance program (requirements may also be found at http://graduate.ua.edu/applicants.html):

  • The University’s Electronic Application form

  • After your online submission of the Electronic Application form, you will be instructed to submit your credit card information online or mail the completed Application Fee Form to pay the non-refundable/non-waiveable application fee of $25.00. The application process will not begin until your fee is received.

  • The Electronic Statement of Purpose form

  • Two (2) official transcripts from each institution of higher education attended (including The University of Alabama) sent directly to the Graduate School from the college or university.

  • Request official GMAT test scores, as required by department to the Graduate School.  The University of Alabama’s test code is 1830.

  • Three (3) completed Letter of Recommendation forms

Cost of Attendance

For the 2006-2007 academic year, tuition rates were $2639 (in state) and $7647 (out of state) per semester plus a $200 per course graduate course fee.

These rates do not include expenses such as books, supplies, and living and transportation expenses.
