Public Policy and Law
Students with a specialty in Public Policy and Law will find opportunities at all levels of government including Federal, State, and Local which are tasked with devising and implementing policies that improve the lives of its citizens. However policies as diverse as No Child Left Behind to Medicare are not created without consideration of the opportunity costs of resources and the impact that these choices will have on the citizenry that will pay for them.
Students with training in economics are highly sought after given their ability to problem-solve while being able to relate the real-world costs and benefits to the politicians that will implement such policies.
