Faculty Enhancement Foundation

The Culverhouse College of Commerce Board of Visitors Faculty Enhancement Foundation provides the College with the resources to attract and retain the high-quality faculty profile necessary to provide an exceptional business education in today’s economy.

State funding for faculty positions does not cover the market-level salary necessary to recruit or keep exceptional professors at the College. The Faculty Enhancement Foundation makes the difference in attracting top-level faculty members and allows the College to compete with institutions in its peer group.

The Faculty Enhancement Foundation has been a tremendous success over the last 10 years and we are looking to build on the momentum. Currently, 24 of our best faculty members are supported by the Foundation. One professor created an entrepreneurship curriculum at the College which is now ranked in the top 20 by Entrepreneurship Magazine. Another is considered one of the country’s leading experts in the automotive industry. Another recruit to the College is a leader in research on countering international terrorism. These professors are invaluable in maintaining the College profile.

Your support of this successful initiative can make a difference in the lives of 6,200 students as they interact and learn from nationally-recognized professors. We encourage you to join with the College to continue building a faculty profile which will elevate the quality of the education of our students and ultimately the reputation of our state. Please join us in pledging your support to this successful initiative.
