Schnee Wins Tournament

Congratulations to Ed Schnee, Hugh Culverhouse Professor of Accounting and Coordinator, Master of Tax Accounting Program, on his July 2011 win.  Schnee won the Pritchett-Moore Men’s City Invitational tennis tournament, Singles 30 and over, at Indian Hills Country Club.  Schnee won: 6-1, 6-3. 

Schnee, 64, moved from New York to Alabama to teach accounting. This fall will be Schnee’s 30th year teaching at The University of Alabama. However, it wasn’t until he turned 51 years old that he started playing tennis.
