Declared major in accounting
3.15 GPA in upper level accounting courses (Intermediate Accounting I & II, Individual Tax, Cost Accounting, etc.)
3.0 GPA overall

8 professional meetings per semester
Meet
the Firms Accounting Career Fair once per semester (September & January)
Speed
Recruiting Night once a year (February)
Beta Alpha Psi at Alabama is also annually ranked as a
Superior Chapter. This is the national
office’s highest award level and is the fifth consecutive year that our chapter
has been recognized with this award. To
earn this designation, each member had to complete 32 hours of professional and
community service activities. Some of our
service activities include volunteering at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, tutoring
introductory level accounting students, and donating items to UA’s Beat Auburn
Beat Hunger Campaign and Turning Point.
Recently, chapter
officers attended the Beta Alpha Psi National Conference in Brooklyn, New York
where they delivered a presentation on “Preparing Members for the Workforce”
while also donating their time to clean up a local park.
