Research Centers

The research centers at The University of Alabama's Culverhouse offer a unique and dynamic resource to students and faculty. By providing critical access to the information that drives the industries where students will one day work, our students are moving one step ahead, one page at a time.

The Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE) at The University of Alabama's Culverhouse College of Commerce collects, maintains and analyzes the state's real estate data. ACRE acts as a liaison for our students to the real estate industry and provides several professional development opportunities and networking events around the state. Students utilizing this resource will experience firsthand what the field of real estate will hold for them on a day-to-day basis.

The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) is the state's most respected authority on state economics and forecasting. Its forecasts cover Alabama's Gross Domestic Product, employment and income by industry group, and are published in the annual Alabama Economic Outlook. CBER hosts the annual Alabama Economic Outlook Conference.

It is no secret that study and experience are the sources of all knowledge. That's why our research centers give students both.
